Factory Simulation provides a way to “prototype” production processes (machine lines, production lines, WIP stations…etc). Simulation can be used as a tool to find problem areas (bottlenecks, constraints) and correct them before they become costly and devastating in the real rollout.

Learn how this technology can work for you.

Process modeling and simulation is an integral part of business decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Through a combination of process simulation and optimization technologies, simulation helps demonstrate, predict, and measure system performance under varying conditions and decision criteria before implementation on “live” operations or customers:

Attend this session to learn how you can:

  • Test new systems or make changes to existing systems before implementation
  • Easily visualize the new or existing system
  • Understand how various components interact with one another and how they affect overall system performance
  • Expose the true effect of randomness and variability
  • Validate investment allocations

Presented by Alexandre Ouellet of Trellisys. Alexandre is the Director of Modeling Solutions with Trellisys. He also lectures Factory Simulation in two different universities. Alexandre holds a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. He has been a modeling and simulation professional since 2006.
