We will be hosting this webinar at ITC and encourage you to participate with us at our facility. Please click the Register Now button above to attend in person.  We are also broadcasting this session for those who are unable to attend at ITC. To register for the webinar, please go to the  webinar registration page.

Factory Simulation is a valuable tool, providing a way to “prototype” production processes before taking the costly step of reconfiguring processes and equipment. Simulation can help find bottlenecks and constraints, allowing you to correct them before rolling out changes. And the key to a good simulation is to gather accurate, qualified data for input.

Join us as we host a webinar presented by Alexandre Ouellet of Trellisys on Data Collection for Factory Simulation.

The output of a simulation is only as good as the quality of the data upon which the simulation is built. But good quality data doesn’t just happen. There are best practices for ensuring that you’ve collected the best possible data to help you build your simulation.

Attend this session to learn how to:

  • Evaluate processes
    • Determine inputs and outputs
    • Assess interactions between processes
  • Collect qualified data
    • Manual methods
    • Automated methods
  • Evaluate the distribution of variability of processes
    • Normal
    • Triangular
    • Uniform
    • Exponential
  • And more

Presented by Alexandre Ouellet of Trellisys. Alexandre is the Director of Modeling Solutions with Trellisys. He also lectures Factory Simulation in two different universities. Alexandre holds a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. He has been a modeling and simulation professional since 2006.
