Journals and magazines
You can now access technical information from wherever you are! This collection of e-resources is built specifically with industry in mind.
AccessEngineering comprises 600+ authoritative and up-to-date engineering reference sources including, books, videos, and tools for multidisciplinary Engineering use, such as:
- Engineering Handbooks – such as Marks’ Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineers. Perry’s Chemical Engineers’ Handbook, and, Standard Handbook for Electrical Engineers
- Interactive tables and graphs – allow you to plug in your own data to reveal personalized results for saving or export
- Powerful search tools – including Advanced Search and filtering capabilities

- Global engineering news
Create your own AccessEngineering account for purposes of saving searches, annotations, and other personalized data. However, you are not required to do so in order to use the basic search function.
ASTM Technical Standards
More than 13,000+ ASTM standards are used worldwide to improve product quality, enhance safety and facilitate trade. The ASTM Standards Library is a vast collection of industry-leading standards and technical engineering information. The collection covers a broad range of engineering disciplines, including aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, environmental, geological, health and safety, industrial, materials science, mechanical, nuclear, petroleum, soil science, and solar engineering.
EBSCOhost databases contain full text and/or abstracts for hundreds of periodicals, magazines, and journals — some dating as far back as 1984, covering a variety of subjects. Includes a selection of full-text reference books, an image collection, maps and flags.
The following databases can be searched individually or together:
|MasterFILE Premier||This multidisciplinary database provides full text for nearly 1,700 periodicals with full-text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Premier also contains full text for nearly 500 reference books and over 164,400 primary source documents, as well as an Image Collection of over 592,000 photos, maps & flags.|
|Academic Search Premier||This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more than 4,600 journals, including full text for nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.|
|Canadian Reference Centre||Canadian Reference Centre combines Canadian magazines, newspapers, newswires and reference books to create the largest collection of regional full text content available to Canadian libraries. This database includes leading Canadian periodicals and international (U.S. and U.K) periodicals in full text; full text reference books; over 87,900 full text biographies and an Image Collection of over 502,000 photos, maps, and flags.|
|GreenFILE||GreenFILE offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records.|
|Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia||This database provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas.|

Obtain access to the e-Library
To access the e-Library, you will need a personal identification number from the ITC Library.
To get your library ID card/number, contact the library by e-mail: email@example.com.
Log into the e-Library!
Once you have received an ITC Library ID number, click on the title of the resource you would like to search and enter your number ID number on the login page.
